Looking up from the Courthouse Mountain trail into the tall pines very near the peaks north-south running saddle.  From the trailhead this route is quite steep with little to no relief until you reach a clearing on the saddle.

View southwest toward the Snefflel's Range from high on Courthouse Mountain. Courthouse Mountain's volcanic tuff base visible in the right of this image.  14,000 foot Mt. Sneffels visible on the horizon. The image was taken just below tree line from a connecting saddle-ridgeline.
